Indians Weren't So "Wild"
Between 500,000 and 600,000 Indians lived beyond the Mississippi when white settlers arrived in the early 19th century.
About 100 tribes could be counted, speaking 375 different languages and practicing agriculture, hunting and fishing.
In the valleys of Missouri and Arkansas, they occupied mud houses in villages. The Pawnees cultivated corn. The Sioux, the Cheyennes and the Comanches hunted bison.
The whites made them sign treaties to settle in their homes, but did not respect their terms, which sparked Indian revolts.
Merciless warriors - they scalped their victims - Indians often displayed courage and self-sacrifice. Between 1866 and 1891, they lost nearly 4,000 combatants, while 932 American soldiers were killed and over a thousand wounded.
Unlike bandits and marshalls at times, Indians rarely attacked stagecoaches or convoys.

Not all Indians wore feathers
Only the Sioux - who included the Lakotas, Nakotas and Dakotas - did wear large feathered headdresses.

Hello everyone!
Today we are going to talk about Apache!
Each player controls a small Indian tribe, made up of hunters, maidens, warriors and chiefs.
The Indians want to claim as much loot as possible.
So the hunter, for example, watches over the buffaloes, while the young girl collects necklaces, etc.
Players take turns revealing one of the meadow cards in the middle of the table, and players can play a hand card that can claim the loot by placing it as quickly as possible on the pow-wow table.
If no one chooses to play a card in hand, players continue to reveal the grassland cards in turn until someone chooses to play a card in hand, interrupting the revealing of the grassland cards.
If the player plays a correct card, he can claim loot. If a player plays a card that he could not claim any loot with, then he must give up. the first two cards of his victory pile.

Hello everyone!
Today we are going to talk about Dust in the Wings!
Dust In The Wings is a family observation game inspired by mancala, an ode to the beauty of Mother Nature, and with simple rules.
At the start of the game, Butterflies are placed on each flower in the Peerage (the 5x5 grid on the main board).
On each turn, players try to complete their objectives in order to accumulate the most victory points.
During his turn, the active player chooses a space in the meadow, and takes all available Butterflies there.
Then, one by one, he puts them back on the grid: the first on any square adjacent to the one from which the Butterflies were taken, the next on an adjacent square ... and so on.
The goal is to get to place the last Butterfly on the space fulfilling one of your Placement or Composition objectives.

Today we are going to talk about Waka Tanka!
Waka Tanka is a very light bluff card game.
The players are Native American shamans who want to impress the tribe by summoning various animal spirits and having a long chat with them.
The problem is, the shaman doesn't always remember the right incantation and somehow calls out the wrong spirit - hoping no one notices.
Each player in turn plays a face-down incantation card in front of a totem animal.
Other players can call the bluff if they think it's the wrong animal.
A player can also attempt a full ceremony if they believe enough incantations have been made to a given animal spirit.
A player wins by getting rid of all of their incantation cards or by performing two ceremonies.

Rush for Oklahoma: Control of Indian Territories
In 1889, hundreds of thousands of European settlers divided Indian lands among themselves by taking part in the Land Run, a furious cavalcade across the plains of Oklahoma.
Their goal ?
Get hold of land offered for settlement. 8,000 square kilometers of land to be colonized
The principle is as simple as it is astounding: the plots of land will be allocated free of charge to the settlers on a “first come, first served” basis.
This Land Run of April 22, 1889 remains one of the most mind-boggling - and brutal - episodes of the conquest of the West.
In the year 1889, the great explorations of the American West were drawing to a close. The gold rush and the construction of the transcontinental railroad were a thing of the past.
The central Great Plains region (Montana to Texas) had been colonized, notably under the Homestead Act of 1862, a law giving European farmers ownership of the land they occupied after driving out the Indians.
Today's Oklahoma was a special case. Called then Indian Territory, it was the last refuge of the Amerindians after decades of violence and displacement of populations.
To be an owner, it was enough to arrive first on a piece of land, to take possession of it by planting a pole on the ground on which was written "This land is mine".
Cities raised from the ground in one day. The next day, the first solid buildings were erected: banks, saloons, gambling houses…

Welcome to a new opus of "Offs du JJV".

When computers landed at the middle school library, I was one of the first to want to get into the "computer tool" ^^
Subsequently, we learn to use these critters which make all kinds of more or less mysterious noises (especially in the 2000s when it was becoming more popular ^^).
Then we learn to use what technology offers us :)
We then manage to secure networks and sites known to many ...
Finally, you learn to code and you don't just find yourself creating and personalizing your site, but also being able to offer cyberspace for customers who need it. :)

Hello everyone! Today we are going to talk about Rolling Bandits!
All in the saddle!
It's time to form your gang and go for it and loot the oncoming train.
But be careful, you are not the only bandit gang in the area!
The players lead a group of Bandits whom they send to assault a train in order to loot them. riches.
Players will roll their Bandits (the dice), attack the train and rob the passengers before the other players.
At the end of the game, the richest player wins.

On May 15, a train from the East Coast arrived in Sacramento.
It took a week to cover a distance that the wagons took six months to cover.
