Welcome to a new opus of the "Offs du JJV"!
"Whoever goes will see; whoever stays will get nothing."
When I opened the store in June 2018, I didn't imagine that I would be offered such interesting collaborations. When I set up seven years ago, the gaming world was not present in Vaison and some people laughed at my project.
I had the pleasure of being invited to participate in the Buis les Baronnies gaming festival thanks to the Mistigri association. I didn't hesitate and tried to offer a stand worthy of the gaming festival that the association was offering.
I carried out a few external services that I would not have even considered when the store opened. I thought that the events would take place in Vaison and its surroundings, which was already not bad.
I had the opportunity to be discovered by Mac Donald of Saint Romain and then to take advantage of being contacted by public and private institutions in Vaison and its surroundings.
I am very happy to see that animations that were unknown when I opened the store are now well appreciated. I can make you enjoy and enjoy the fun world with you and that is priceless.
Sometimes abroad to animate, I appreciate all the times of animations that I share with you as much as each other. All these unique moments mark the history of the store and always enrich me a little more humanly.

Today we're going to talk about Make a snake!
Help the snakes, from 2 to 4 players from 3 and more for 15 minutes, to know which one can place his head nearer to its tail !
The funny snakes in this children's game have decided to challenge each other to see who can get their head closest to their tail. Help them decide! Also try the cooperative mode with the lollipop hunt and the dragon egg, two variations to play together!
Principle of the game
Competitive mode
Game progress
Each player takes 1 snake head, 1 snake tail and 1 attachment, in the color of their choice.
During the game, you will add new tiles to your snake. Your snake's tail must be as close as possible to its head to win.
On your turn, roll the die, and choose a color from those shown by the die. Take the first tile from the corresponding pile. Attach this tile to your snake. You can roll your snake up on itself and cover the tiles.
End of the game
When there are only 2 stacks of tiles left, the players end the round and each player attaches their tail tile to their snake.
The player who gets the smallest distance between the tongue and the tail of their snake wins the game!
Cooperative mode (Lollipop hunt)
Your snake must touch the 4 lollipops!
The game is played in the same way as previously explained but the players all play together, with the same snake.
If any player manages to make the snake touch the 4 Lollipop tokens before 2 of the 4 stacks of tiles are exhausted, you all win the game!
Cooperative mode (The dragon egg)
Defeat the 3 guards and recover the stolen egg.
On your turn, roll the die, and add a tile to your snake according to the usual rules. The players all play together, with the dragon. It has 3 connectors for the snake heads and 1 connector for the tail. As soon as a snake body tile touches a guard token (you have beaten the guard), attach a snake head to it.
After beating the 3 guards, you can try to recover the stolen dragon egg. But be careful! The egg is fragile, you risk breaking it if you touch it. You must surround the egg with snake tiles.
If the players manage to beat the 3 guards and recover the dragon egg before 2 of the 4 stacks of tiles are exhausted, you all win the game! If you fail, don't hesitate to try again

I have customers and players who are mostly adorable and I realize how lucky I am and am very grateful to you.
I recently had one of my players tell me that I was someone who was very attentive and caring and that it showed in my attitude and my gestures towards others in the store and in events.
I try every day to listen to you as much as possible, whether in the store or in events. It is important for me to try to meet your expectations as best I can.
My players tell me that I am always patient and that I made them laugh a lot in events and in the store, they thank me for my listening and my advice.
The children I work with call me "the smile fairy" and I find that adorable, because the most beautiful smiles are not mine, but theirs...
The human contacts we have enrich me and build my professional and personal experience. I am very happy that you are by my side on my playful path and to be able to offer you the nuggets that it offers us.

I always knew since the beginning of the store in June 2018 that I wanted to take you with me in my passion for the gaming world. Seven years already since I started and that I live this adventure with you. Thank you again!
Because opening a store to stay anchored alone in it is very sad, I wanted to develop the animations. And I am very happy to have always believed in it, even when they had trouble taking off at the very beginning.
I finally did well to believe and launch my project because for all these years we have shared good times together around games, whether by talking about them or playing them.
I love it when I see that the gaming world has evolved well in Vaison and that it continues to make new fans. I have a big flaw concerning the store, it's that as soon as I start talking about games, I have a hard time stopping.
I love explaining games to you and making you discover fun nuggets throughout the year at the store and in game events. Sharing with you always teaches me new and interesting things.
So as long as we walk together, I am ready to move at your pace while always being a force for proposals to energize the gaming world together and always share good times together.

And today we’re gonna talk about Jungle Speed!
Rely on your sense of observation and quick reflexes, from 2 to 10 players aged 7 and more during 10 minutes, to find the symbols leading to the totem and then victory !
In Jungle Speed, you must rely on your keen sense of observation and quick reflexes. It requires a steady hand -- which can be hard to maintain during the many fits of maniacal laughter! The wooden Totem sits in the middle of the table, waiting for the player with the fastest reflexes to snatch it up and win the game.
Each player is dealt a hand of cards. In order to win you must be the first player to get rid of all of your cards. Each turn, all of the players reveal one of their cards.
If two cards are identical, those players must make a grab for the Totem. The faster player then gives their cards to their unfortunate adversary.
To add to the difficulty, certain cards are almost identical, which can trick a hapless player into grabbing the Totem by mistake -- a grave error. Other cards force all players to make a grab at once, change the method of play, or otherwise add to the difficulty.

If we give up as soon as we fail to do something, we are sure to never succeed. Just like when we learned to walk, we fell but each time we got up.
I learned from a very young age with my grandfather that failures teach us to better carry out our actions afterwards and lead us to success.
I am gifted with determination and an unfailing will, because I have always seen my grandparents fight in life to get what they wanted.
I am very lucky to have been to a good school and I learned my life lesson well alongside my grandparents. I have known since a very young age how to discipline myself to get what I want to achieve.
If I don't succeed the first time, I learn from my failures to understand what I could have improved and to continually progress.
If we had given up at the first fall when we were learning to walk, we simply wouldn't walk. So if we give up on our projects or what we care about, we can't succeed in making them see the light of day.
It's by trying again and again, even if we are discouraged, even if we don't want to anymore, that we end up making our projects come to life. We don't always get what we want, but if we tried and failed, we are already one step further to try our luck again later.

Manage the best way your dinosaurs parc, from 2 to 6 players aged 12 and more during 45 to 90 minutes, for your visitors to enjoy it !
Jurassic World is a game where players work together to manage a dinosaur park. Each player chooses an employee to help them look after the park. Employees have various skills, which allow them to place buildings and create dinosaurs for example.
You spread word about the park by entertaining your visitors. However, be careful! The more dinosaurs the park contains, the greater the chance of break outs with gruesome consequences.
Jurassic World is a cooperative board game from 2 to 6 players. It's a combination of making the right choices with your teammates and some luck with rolling the dice. Players start their turn together by placing their banners strategically in the preparation phase. In the action phase players take actions based on where they placed their banner in the previous phase. In the action phase players take actions, for example: Digging up dinosaurs, researching dinosaurs, placing dinosaurs in their paddock, building entertainment buildings or buying upgrades.
They succeed in these actions by rolling the right numbers with the dice. If all that is going according to plans, players will be able to fulfill all the requirements of a mission and win the game.
But if something goes wrong and the 'danger meter' reaches 20, all players will lose the game.

It happened to me several times when I was starting to heal my past traumas to get angry with people who were intentionally trying to annoy me because they found it funny...
Honestly, when you try to annoy someone to point the finger at them, it's not the person you're trying to blame but the person who needs to make them lose their temper who is at fault.
So I got caught out at the beginning by getting a little angry with people who didn't even deserve a reaction from me. Now that I've healed some of my traumas, I realize that this wasn't the right response to give.
There will always be people who will try to make you lose your temper to point the finger at you and Vaison is no exception… You have to know if you want to waste your energy and time with people who do not deserve to have it.
I am proud of myself for having managed to get over my traumas and no longer resonate with the negativity of the people who tried to provoke me to point the finger at me. Now when they come to provoke at the store or when they pass me in the street, I am so calm and detached that they often ask me the question "are you not going to get angry?". And no ^^
It is one of the mistakes I made but which allowed me to make the necessary efforts so that it now goes over my head. :)

Dear curators upgrade your collections,from 1 to 4 players aged 14 and more during 45 to 75 minutes, to attract the visitors in your museums !
Curators is a Euro-style, tile-laying game for 1-4 players in which players build museums and their collections to attract visitors.
Your job as curator is to expand the museum and its collection. With help from your employees you will build new wings and collect objects to put on display in the museum.
The employees are represented by five chips that are used to determine what different actions you may take in the game. Select your action from the face up chips, flip the chip over to show you have used it. This will reveal a different action on the other side which you can use at a later time.
On the other hand, if you ever have two of the same action available on your turn you may choose to double up. This means that on a single turn you can flip two chips and do double the amount of work.
During play you acquire loan contracts for famous objects, like 'the dice tower of a Roman soldier' or 'the skull of the neanderthal man', from other museums. To score the points for these objects you need to complete a tetris like puzzle of color and space matching.
When the game ends only one museum will stand as the victor and take home the 'Museum of the Year Award'.

I am very happy with the support you give me on a daily basis and your enthusiasm for board games. Many of you share fun moments during the activities or conversations around the games and I thank you for that.
The best reward does not make noise since you share it with me in the store and in live activities. The essential is said through silence. Through knowing looks, smiles and bursts of laughter.
I love having your feedback on the games and the good times you shared together by enjoying them with family, acquaintances, as a couple or friends.
I like to know that I offer you what suits you in the store and in activities. I like to know that I succeed in bringing you moments of conviviality and sharing.
I don't have a large number of followers on social networks, but I have a number of customers and players that delight me on a daily basis.
I am very happy to have you every day in the store and at events and to see that you appreciate what I offer you, much more than having people who consult my content without ever liking anything...
I thank them for taking the time to read them and if they wish to suggest themes that they would like me to address, I am open to any suggestion. ;)
Two or three themes were suggested to me by customers and I was very happy to have addressed them in order to plan a showcase and publications that meet their expectations. :)

Well, now it's time we talk about these kinds of people because enough is enough believing that the Internet gives you all the rights, especially the right to say anything!
Here's what I received this morning when I opened my Google account! The Internet seems to give some people wings when it comes to denigration!
I'll give you my simple opinion, Mademoiselle! Creating a Google account to smear a store that works and gets up every morning, all because it didn't take your package because it certainly shouldn't go through, that shows who you are and not who this store is...
If you have the right to lie to try to denigrate a store, restaurant, etc., I don't see why I shouldn't have the right to tell the truth in return (on condition of anonymity for you, of course). Loyal customers and those who interact with my relay point on a daily basis know full well that I follow all the classics of basic decency: "hello, goodbye, thank you, please, etc.", and that I don't slam the door in people's faces, as you seem to imply.
My regulars at the store and the relay point also know that I am one of the few relay points who takes the time to explain the process for receiving and dropping off parcels, even if it means repeating the same thing several times a day to different people.
I never tire of explaining to people how we operate at the Pick-up relay points (Chronopost, Colissimo, and DPD) to track packages and reassure them.
I treat parcels and people at the relay point as I would like to be treated if it were me, so with respect. I have a screenshot of what you said, and I believe the relevant authorities will make sure you understand that you are responsible for your comments. Regarding your packages, they will now be refused at our drop-off and pick-up points, and Pick-up has been informed of the situation so I can authorize it.
I nevertheless wish you all the best and good luck in your life. Thank you all for reading this long text, and I'm sorry to have had to bore you with such trivialities, but enough is enough!

And today we’re gonna talk about Timeline!
Place your cards in a chronological order, from 2 to 8 players aged 8 and more during 15 minutes, to win the game !
Timeline is a card game where each card depicts a historical event, invention or discovery on both sides, with the year in which that event occurred, invention or discovery was made on only one side. Players take turns placing a card from their hand in a row on the table.
After placing the card, the player reveals the date on it. If the card was placed correctly with the date in chronological order with all other cards on the table, the card stays in place; otherwise the card is removed from play and the player takes another card from the deck.
The first player to get rid of all his cards by placing them correctly wins. If multiple players go out in the same round, then everyone else is eliminated from play and each of those players are dealt one more card for another round of play. If only one player has no cards after a bonus round, he wins; otherwise play continues until a single player goes out.

I'm not the type to stay in one place and do nothing. I like to be proactive in offering you activities that are more and more like you and original games to discover in the store.
I have sometimes accepted projects for activities and partnerships that I wasn't sure I would be able to carry out optimally at first, because they were original. But I like challenges so I accepted them and I managed to adapt to the different projects proposed.
And then you are sure not to make a mistake and especially not to progress when you sit and wait without doing anything. The first activities in Italy were very funny, because I only knew a few words of Italian at the time. Fortunately, I was lucky enough to have a colleague who spoke French and Italian.
And then on the challenge of learning Italian to come back to animate with him in another city, I seized it and I can now understand and make myself understood in Italian. Grazie Alessio ;)
Animating in English often happens to me during my game times, because I have some English-speaking players and clients. Explaining games in German also happens to me from time to time, even if my German is lacking in practice. Danke alles ;) Thank you all sweeties ;)
I recently had the chance to offer game times in Spanish in this magnificent country and with a professional and friendly animation team. Muchas gracias a todos. ;)

And today we’re gonna talk about Pylos!
Become the one who , for 2 players aged 8 and more during 10 minutes, will suceed to place the last ball at the top of the pyramid !
Sounds simple enough, right?
At the start of the game, each player has fifteen balls, either light or dark, and they take turns placing them on a game board that has sixteen indentations on it in a 4x4 grid. Once four balls have been placed next to one another in a square, a ball can be placed on top of them, forming a second level of play. Players can then place balls on this second level, eventually allowing a ball to be placed on the third level – and once that level is full, which requires only four balls, a final ball can be placed on the fourth level, with that player winning the game.
If a player forms a square of his own color – that is, four balls placed next to one another on the same level – that player can remove one or two of his balls (that don't support anything) from anywhere on the board and place them in his reserve, thereby giving him more balls to place in the future.
Whenever a player forms a square that's not entirely his own color, he can "stack" one of his pieces – that is, he can take any ball and place it on this square, locking some pieces in place and making a move without having to place a piece from his reserve.
The rules include a variant for children (that removes the square bonus) and one for experts (that allows a player to return 1-2 balls to his reserve when he creates a line of his color).

Welcome to a new opus of the "Offs du JJV"!

They say that "to live happily, let's live hidden" and it's rather true, because some people who do not find their happiness may not be happy with that of others.
I am always very happy to share unique moments with you during the game animations. I keep them all preciously in memory to accompany me on my journey.
I do not take any of the moments shared with you for granted, because they are all a moment frozen in time that will never come back and that is what makes them so special.
I am committed to sharing the gaming world with you and all the good times it allows us to share, whether with you or whether you share them with your loved ones.
What I like about the moments shared with you is that they bring me as much as they seem to bring you. You tell me in animation that you appreciate the game times and I can assure you that I appreciate them just as much as you.
I like the diversity of players that I meet and see again at each animation. The animations are all different and that is what I appreciate by coming to make you play. If I did not appreciate each of these moments as well as all the good moments of life in general, I would not be happy. Waiting for big things to happen when so many little things can make us happy on a daily basis, it leaves so many expectations that are not always met.
We can pretend to be happy, but if we are not at peace with ourselves we end up making war on ourselves. That is what I did for years and I do not intend to do it anymore. I enjoy the peace of being in tune with what I do in life and bringing you some unique fun moments along the way.
I'm just a small shop, but I like to share my passion and good fun with you, so thank you. :)

Since the dawn of time, the spirit world has been separated from our world. But agents of the Shadow want to break the barriers. You are Shamans, guardians of the portals capable of traveling between worlds. You try to stop the agents of the Shadow in their dark design. But what if the threat came from your own ranks?
Shamans is both a hidden role game and a trick-taking game. The guardians must prevent the opening of the portals and neutralize the agents of the Shadow. Each player manages his hand of cards. Depending on the placement conditions, he can gain an object, take control, advance the ritual, or activate the power of a place (elimination, revelation, change of identity, etc.)

I am very happy that lovely journalists like Marinette came to write articles about the store. It is always a pleasure to receive recognition for the work you do, especially when you are self-employed.
I had a hard time in 2021 to believe that I could have been nominated in the categories of kindness, originality, digital and agility. The special congratulations from the jury made me very happy and winning the agility prize just as much.
I don't like to talk about myself and prefer to talk about the store and the experiences that surround it in the "Offs du JJV" because they are part of the life of the store. It is a way of sharing with you the ups and downs and good times of the life of the store.
I prefer to move forward calmly and develop the store at my own pace by seizing opportunities that arise and for which I cannot always provide details. Some structures where I work wish to maintain a certain confidentiality, which I fully support.
And even if rumors invent a life for me that I do not have, I find it interesting to see how far I am capable of progressing in the mouths of evil tongues…^^ I advance my pawns in silence and am content to smile in the face of the negativity of certain people.
To need to make so much noise, it is because they must want to attract attention… It is a shame for them that they only have this way to occupy their day. But thanks to them, I have managed to question myself to regain self-confidence. So I say a big thank you to them for allowing me to realize the person I would not want to be, that is to say them… And in the meantime I continue to move forward slowly but surely. ;)

Go on an adventure in a lushed jungle, from 2 to 4 players aged 8 and more during 20 to 30 minutes, and save the animals !
In Rainforest, your goal is to create a jungle environment with a rich variety of vegetation, which will allow you to reintroduce and protect the region's iconic species: monkeys, frogs, butterflies and parrots. Don't forget to ensure the long-term survival of your totem animal, and you can earn valuable extra points. Will you be able to make your jungle a cradle of diversity?
Arrange your jungle as harmoniously as possible to help preserve certain animal species!
A game consists of a succession of game turns, during which players perform two mandatory actions in order:
– Take the first Jungle tile from a pile on the game board and place it in their blank area (under their personal board) or under the chosen pile if they do not wish to keep it.
– Collect all the Animal tokens of the same species or color found under the chosen tile and place them either in their reserve or on the tiles in the blank area in order to complete them. Some token locations require a specific color or species. When a Jungle tile is completely filled with tokens, it is placed in the Jungle (above the players' personal board) on the next location defined by the order given. Then, the active player checks if he meets the conditions to win one of the Bonus tokens (objectives for arranging tiles according to their colors). Finally, if an area of the game board no longer contains any tokens, tokens are added to the entire board to fill the empty spaces.
When a player validates his ninth tile, he triggers the end of the game. The final score to determine the winner takes into account:
– The points of the validated Jungle tiles
– The Species tokens corresponding to the player's Totem animal (defined at the start of the game)
– The tile arrangement objectives achieved (Protected Area and Balance tokens)
