The "20 boxes" was a game quite similar to our territory conquest board games which inspired the creation of the senet.
It was called "twenty" or "twenty boxes" or also "aseb", a word probably of Babylonian origin.
We progressed by throwing either astragalus or tetrahedron-shaped dice.
It was necessary to move on the rows of boxes one after the other, avoiding the traps of certain boxes.
The positioning of the pawns gave points according to particular combinations.

Today we are going to talk about a great classic, Abalone.
In this game for two people, each player has a color of marbles.
All the balls are arranged on the board on each side.
The goal is to be the last player to have marbles left in the game.
This requires getting the opponent's balls out by pushing them out of the board into the gutters on the side of the board.
To take out the balls of your opponent you must always have one more ball than those of the other player.
You can move a marble or a row of marbles per turn and always a nearby square.

The senet (or zénet) is the most famous game of ancient Egypt.
He would have helped to prepare the passage of the deceased in the afterlife.
There are many representations engraved or painted on the walls of the tombs: images of characters playing, seated in front of their gaming tables.
We played two.
The ten game pawns (5 of each color for each player) were placed on the board by alternating one pawn of each color on the first 10 squares of the game (30 squares in total).
We threw the 4 astragals (small sticks that served as dice) then we advanced the number of sticks on the rounded or colored side (depending on the ages of the game).
The first player to get all these pawns out wins the game.
There were five special boxes that acted as traps. An ancestor of the game of goose and small horses?

Hello everyone! Today we are going to talk about Avé!
As in Ancient Rome roll the dice to combine the largest possible Roman numbers.
You decide where you enter the scores you get.
They just need to be in ascending order and only appear once.
If your dice roll does not match a Roman numeral, your turn ends.
The 6 action cards will allow you to exchange the side of a dice to your advantage.
However, if you don't use them, they earn you extra points at the end of the game.
The game ends as soon as a player has filled the 7 boxes of his score sheet and the one with the most points wins.
As César said "Alea Jacta Est", the die is cast!

Hello everyone! Today we will try to become an archmage :)
You are mages who are trying to become the archmage, the most powerful mage. For this you must go to the discovery of the arcane dungeon and collect the scrolls of the most powerful spells.
Magical seals of the four elements block your progress through the scrolls. Only with the dice and the number corresponding to the seals to be broken will you be able to access the Arcane Dungeon.
Using your dice and other scrolls you've collected, use weaker spells to unlock stronger spells. But still keep an eye out for your opponents who may take advantage of a spell to try and stop you.

Despite the fact that it took Erno Rubik, the inventor of the Rubik's Cube, a month to solve it, and this famous puzzle has 43,252,003,274,489,856,000 possible configurations, the latter can be solved by only 20 movements!
This is the conclusion of a team of researchers based in Palo Alto, Calif., Who used Google computers to perform this calculation that would take 35 years on a high-end PC.
By going through algebra, by modeling each of the rotations as a letter, the researchers demonstrated that any configuration of the cube can be solved in 20 movements. This number of movements is known as the god number.

Hello everyone!
Today we have chosen to tell you about the game "Once upon a time".
This card game is about telling a story together or against others. At the start of the game, we designate a player who will play the role of the storyteller.
The storyteller will place these cards one by one, detailing his story around the card he is placing.
If one of your cards looks like or comes close to what the storyteller says, you can become a storyteller yourself by putting down a card and continuing the story.
The object of the game will be to put down all these event cards, characters and his end card to win the game.
A variation for the younger ones could be to create a story together by taking turns placing a card to continue the story, always detailing the word on the card.
