A fun good time.
During events within private or associative organizations, I often find myself facing beginner players or connoisseurs of classic games.
Most of the time, they don't know all the current playful nuggets...
That's good, it's my role to make them discover them ;)
To get players to succeed in assimilating a game and its rules, it is often useful to offer games that are based on an already known mechanic.
As Pablo Picasso said so well:
“To teach people something, you have to mix what they know with what they don't know. »
It's a very wise phrase that I apply on a daily basis to get my players to become comfortable with unknown games and make them want to play again.
I must not be doing too badly, because, one example among many others, a little lady who did not want to play because she was not used to playing board games told me:

Today we are going to talk about Doodle Island!
The first in Superlude's Doodle Games range, Doodle Islands is a "Roll and Write" game from the same author duo as Avenue.
You will play the role of ambitious ship captains who will travel the sea in search of gold and adventures.
You will trace your way with the end of your pen through archipelagos, treasure islands, monsters, ships, rocks and taverns scattered in the seas!
All this to try to become the richest and receive the title of Queen or Pirate King at the end of your journey!
The adventure map is broken down into a grid where the columns are associated with a black die face and the rows with a white die face.
Each grid cell contains either a sea monster, an island, a pirate ship or "towers".
Each turn, a player will roll one black die and one white die.
The player then selects a white die and must draw a line in the cell corresponding to the black die and the selected white die. You need to connect two sides of the cell (e.g. top left, right left, etc.), but you can choose which sides you want to connect.
You get points each time you: connect a sea monster to an already existing line, connect an island to towers.
If there is already a line where you need to draw, you need to cross a rum bottle instead.
After that, the next player draws a white die, and so on, until all players have done the same.
Then a new turn begins where the player rolling the dice is next in turn order.
You continue to play until a player scores more than 15 points on a single monster, a player scores more than 10 points on a single island, or a player has crossed out all of their rum bottles.
You then add up your points earned with monsters and islands.
And you must add 4 points per connected pirate ships.
The person who went through the most bottles of rum loses a few points and the person who went through the least wins that amount.

Welcome to a new opus of the JJV Offs!

When the animations were suspended because of the covid, the online animations replaced them but it was not the same...
During outdoor events, we share extra moments with the players and the pleasure of the game is mutual as much for them as for me.
As soon as we were able to set up animations in secure sanitary conditions, we were happy to see that our regular players were there and had found other players to join us. :)
And as the expression “the more the merrier, the merrier” says so well, which we could adapt to the world of games as “the more players there are, the more we share”.
And we can say that entertainment is like cycling, it comes back on its own! ;)
We found the right reflexes and good habits quite quickly while respecting the health rules.
Getting together to play and share a fun moment, what more could you ask for?

The Christmas period is a joyous time when the playful world is very busy and happy to be as far as we are concerned. :)
The game is a way to bring players together in normal times, but the Christmas period has seen a large number of novice players regain a taste for games and the playful exchange that it entails...
Administering gossip to willing ears to recoup the profits is a rather lucrative Christmas spirit, it would seem…
I don't know what it is, because the integrity and trust of my customers are much more important to me than additional sales. But I guess all means are good to earn some money…
Strolling through a store to express a vicious glee that “it’s shit”. Giggling while staring at the shopkeeper there must be satisfying for people who peddle anything and everything…
I waited patiently without satisfying their craving for any negative reaction from me, when they moved on and realized that I was not alone...

Today we are going to talk about Relic Runners!
In Relic Runners, each player embodies a character eager to mine and acquire relics discovered in a lost part of the jungle.
Every budding archaeologist has a colorful past - retired college professor, former army captain, etc. - and wants to be the first to get their hands on the precious loot to earn the most victory points.
Players must navigate a series of paths in order to visit the temples.
Archaeologists are limited in their movements by their access to rations, but fortunately they can place markers on the paths to allow them to travel for free on future turns.
Players also have a toolbox that can be upgraded in three particular ways to somehow break the rules or give them an advantage when moving.
Each time a player visits a temple, they take a token.
Initially, temples offer victory points or some form of in-game bonus.
When the final token is taken, a relic is placed there to be collected.
Players earn big victory points for collecting relics of different types (set collection) and players can also earn bonus points for creating long routes and traveling along them to collect relics.

Since November 2018, we are pleased to welcome you for your withdrawals and deposits of parcels from La Poste Group: Chronopost, Colissimo and DPD.
For parcel drop off, don't forget the proof of drop off provided with your shipping label.
The part with the barcode is to be stuck on your package and the proof of deposit to be presented to us at the relay.
Stamped with the current date, the proof of deposit proves that you have indeed deposited your parcel at a Pickup relay point!
With or without signature (thanks to the Pickup Pass), the identity document is necessary for the collection of parcels.
Unavailable to pick up your package? Send someone to fetch it for you.
To withdraw it on your behalf, he will need your identity document and his own.
Dropping off and picking up parcels is as simple as that! ;)

Today we are going to talk about Reworld!
In Reworld, players attempt to terraform a newly discovered planet, and to do so, they must use terrabots to establish new towns and shuttles to deliver materials that will populate those locations.
In game terms, over five turns, players fill all five levels of their spaceship with tiles depicting terrabots, shuttles, material ships, and satellites.
Each turn twenty of these tiles are randomly placed around the perimeter of a large ship, and each player receives a hand of cards.
On his turn, a player may play one or more cards to claim a tile by following these rules:
• If no tile adjacent to the desired tile has been claimed, the player may lay any card next to that tile, claim it, and then place it in the leftmost space of their spaceship's level that corresponds to the number of the card played. If you play a 4, for example, you must place this tile in the leftmost position of your fourth level.
• If a tile adjacent to the desired tile has been claimed, then you must deposit a card of the same number as the one used to claim this previous tile or two cards of your choice (these two cards thus serving as jokers). The highest number indicates the level of your spaceship on which you must place this tile.
• If both tiles adjacent to the desired tile have been claimed and the cards used to claim them show the same number, then you do as described above. If the cards have different numbers, however - for example, 1 and 3 - then you must set the same two numbers (1 and 3), a matching number and two other cards, or four cards. You place this tile on your spaceship in the same way as previously desired.
Once everyone has no more cards in their hand or can no longer play, the round ends. Any remaining tiles are discarded, then you reset the board and deal a new hand of cards.
After five turns, players now deploy these tiles to the new planet, each turn playing 1-3 of the leftmost tiles of the row of their choice to create their personal terraformed world.
If you deploy a terrabot, which are labeled A-E, you start a new city with that letter or expand an existing city. Material ships, which come in five colors, can only be delivered to the surface of the planet if they are attached to shuttles, and each city can only have ships of one color.
Satellites provide a bonus score when added to a city. Shuttles and satellites can also be used as shields to protect your fledgling planet.
Players earn points during the first half of the game for picking up terrabots and having cards in hand. During the second half, players score for deploying satellites and for achieving goals set at the start of the game, e.g. having a city with eight tiles, having a city of each letter, clearing a level on your spaceship, having a certain number of shields, etc.
Once all spaceships are empty, players score their final points for how well they developed each city and their shields compared to their fellow terraformers.
Whoever scores the most points wins.

A year ago, on the occasion of the Réussir au Féminin Trophy, I won the Agility Trophy!
This trophy rewards a company that has managed to do well during the Covid period.
I was also warmly congratulated by the jury for my nominations in the categories:
-Originality: I work in a predominantly male environment.
-Digital: I am leading a strong action to digitize my offer.
- Benevolence: I distinguished myself during the pandemic.
These nominations and this award allowed me to validate the fact that I was on the right path within my company.
Through our everyday actions, as long as we can, we will continue to: support associations with our donations, donate our time voluntarily, facilitate mutual aid actions via our social networks.
I made sure that even during the pandemic, I manage to find prizes to offer to associations, give time or help spread mutual aid.
For me, it is important to be able to give without thinking of receiving.

Today we are going to talk about Cardline Marvel!
Cardline: Marvel is similar to Cardline: Animals—but with superheroes and other characters from the Marvel Comics universe!
It is a card game that is played with around 100 cards.
Both sides of each card depict a character and their name, while their weight, IQ, and combat ability are printed on only one side of the card.
For each game, players decide before playing which of the three statistics they are comparing.
At the start of the game, each player places a certain number of character cards whose characteristics are hidden on the table in front of them.
A card is placed in the center of the table with its characteristics revealed.
Players then take turns placing a card from their tableau in a row on the table; a player can place a card between two other cards.
After placing the card, the player reveals its characteristics.
If the card was placed correctly - that is, with the particular characteristic in numerical order relative to all other cards on the table - the card remains in place; otherwise the card is removed from play and the player takes another card from the draw pile and adds it to their tableau.
The first player to get rid of all their cards by placing them correctly wins.

Reciprocity
You will certainly hear more or less good things about the store depending on who tells you about it.
Reviews that aim to destroy the store completely indifferent to me, because I know that those who really know me know how I work and why I do it...
The opinion of my loyal customers and close acquaintances is important to me, because it allows me to take into account another constructive point of view.
One thing is certain though. I think you have to respond to wickedness with patience.
Even if someone tries to discredit my store, I will continue to maintain its integrity and refer customers, even to people who try to give it a bad name.
Why ? Quite simply because I prefer to go against the current than against the heart…
It's not in my nature to try to hurt others on purpose.

Today we are going to talk about Crazy Heroes!
Heroes aren't always the ones you think they are, they don't always have a cape, super vision, Herculean strength, or any other powers.
Play as a sheep, a duck, a cow or a pig and save the ox and the wild boar! Place the 4 color cards on the table, then place the stacks of Cry cards on the table, finally in the center place the stack of freshly shuffled Animals and Changes of Cries cards.
Each player then takes a totem animal, with the fruit to which he is allergic written on it, then we discover the first card of the deck.
At that moment, all the animal-players appearing on the card and not being allergic to the designated fruit, must shout as quickly as possible the name of their animal followed by the adjective or the name written on the card Cries of the same color as the Animals card in the middle of the table, and place your hand on the central card.
And this without making a mistake and being clear and distinct in its cry.
If it is ok, the player takes the card concerned, otherwise he discards one of the cards from his nest egg.
The game ends when the Animal pile is empty.

Today, we are going to talk about Touché Poulet!
At the Tonbec farm, the same story is repeated every day; from early morning, the animals covet the eggs from the henhouses before the breeders get their hands on them.
Each player commands one of the four animal armies and earns Ears when he participates in the destruction of an enemy unit.
These Ears can be exchanged on the black market for the coveted eggs!
Rabbits, pigs, moles and roosters: choose your clan and lead it to victory!
The game is played in 2 phases:
-1st phase, Targeting From the 1st player, you will attack with one of your units by placing your Target pawns on the squares of your opponents' Large boards. Use one of your units, apply the effect of the Unit card, then exhaust this card to indicate its use. This phase ends when all players have targeted, i.e. placed their Target tokens.
-2nd phase, the Resolution The moment of truth, each player must announce if one or more shots from the 1st player have hit one or more of their units. Continue with the next player. . Today we're going to talk about Te Kuiti!
Te Kuiti is a game for two that invites us to take on either the role of the shepherd who only seeks to close his enclosure to keep his sheep and the latter who only dream of one thing to escape and regroup.
The game keeps its promise, the 2 roles are very different and each must find its own solution but via a different mechanic.
The shepherd must put up fences while the sheep must find its fellows through a small memory game.
The asymmetry of the 2 mechanics works well even if we often feel that the sheep is easier to play.
Indeed, it is a memory game where you have to find pairs of sheep but under the pressure of the shepherd who risks locking up your sheep who will no longer be accessible.
The voltage is working fine.
It is easy to get caught up in the game.
There is a small dose of chance in the head of the sheep who can discover a pair by pure luck.
Just like, chance will dictate whether or not he discovers the special tiles that benefit both players.
Te Kuiti is a sympathetic game to play for two because it offers fast games and sufficiently tense to find pleasure.

Today we're going to talk about Rituals!
Rituals is a card-based story-building game that you and up to five other players can start playing in minutes.
Choose your worship and ritual, then use the invitation cards to collaboratively tell a story of love, betrayal, doubt and devotion.
The rituals will take you through the lands of cultists trying to summon a creature capable of destroying the entire universe.
But will all participants follow this plan until the end? The game offers 8 cults and 8 rituals.
The guest cards are divided into 2 decks: Act I (Why did the characters join the cult, what are their hopes and dreams?) And Act II (What are those nightmares that increasingly disturb your sleep as the Ritual day is getting closer? Are your teammates trustworthy? Are you really on the safe side?).
A Final Act in a black envelope will have you secretly vote for success or failure of the Ritual.
