In 2 words game
Hello everyone !
Today we are going to talk about Kokomots!
The goal of the game is to find as many words as possible in well-defined themes using at least one letter from our hand and one letter from the board corresponding to this theme.
All in a limited time, of course.
Whoever has the most points at the end of the game wins. We each take our turn.
The rule advises us to designate a player in charge of the hourglass and another in charge of being “judge” to verify that the words found correspond to the theme and that the conditions are respected if there are any.
Once the hourglass has started (45 seconds), try to find as many words as possible related to the theme.
Only one constraint, but it is significant: each word must contain a letter from a card in our hand, but also from a card present on the playing area, under the theme concerned.
So I pick up the three cards, a new theme will appear and a new letter also in the corresponding column and pile.
And so on, until the hourglass time is up, which is 45 seconds.
If no words are found, the player has the right to exchange his entire hand (3 cards) for new cards, but only once during his turn.
As mentioned, some cards are only playable by fulfilling a condition that they clearly state.
For example, they must be the first, second or last letter of the word.
They can also force the player to spell the word they just found, before it can be validated.
The good news is that these cards are worth more points than the others, and will undoubtedly make the difference at the end of the game.

Years of animation
21 years ago, I started to animate in a playtime association.
Having started playing games at the age of 3, when I was asked at 14 to lead a game time with other teenagers like me and for children, I did it quite naturally.
After my studies and having worked in commerce to finance them, I returned to animation to make it my definitive profession at the age of 24.
So I've been hosting officially for 11 years and unofficially for 21 years ;)
I never lost this desire to make people play and share my passion for games with as many people as possible.
Also around a game, “the more the merrier”.
So don't hesitate to come and continue to share the playful madness with us. ;)

Today we are going to talk about Loops!
Settle into the cockpit and take off for an uncontrolled adventure...
In LOOPS, players fly the same plane together, taking turns controlling its altitude and direction.
Keep the right cards in hand and trap your opponents by changing the direction or attitude of the plane.
The players take turns placing an altitude card (or several if they are identical), respecting 2 conditions:
- A direction: to the right or to the left (indicates the order in which the players located around the table must play)
- An attitude: positive or negative (indicates whether the altitude of the aircraft must increase or decrease).
When a player cannot place any card during his turn, he recovers all the cards placed on the table.
Keep the right cards in hand to never be blocked.
Trap your opponents by changing the direction or attitude of the plane using special cards.
Be the first to run out of cards to win the game.

Today we are going to talk about Oro del oro!
Lost at sea or hidden on the islands, many pirates have left their booty there.
Be smart, plan your route wisely and find their treasures.
Each player has 3 tiles face up in front of them and in turn must place one of their tiles to hold the treasure map, but it must match the rest of the tiles already placed.
You gain 1 coin each time you place a tile, then you draw a new tile.
Some tiles have a special power:
- Treasure Chest - earns you 1 extra coin based on how many tiles it touches when you place it.
- Hurricane - allows you to switch between players (including yourself) as many tiles as your tile touches on the board.
- Parrot - allows you to become the captain. The captain cannot be attacked and chooses in the event of a tie at the end of the game who wins.
- Fight - allows you to steal from another player (except the captain) as many coins as your tile touches other tiles on the board.
If during your turn you cannot play one of your tiles, you can discard the last tile and so on, paying 1 coin for each discarded tile.
The game ends when there are no more tiles to draw after playing one.
The winner is whoever has the most gold at the end of the game.

Today we are going to talk about Master Islands!
It's about getting 8 cards to win.
To do this, you must align the cards horizontally, vertically or diagonally so that they have a value of 10.
It may sound easy, but it's not that easy.
Everyone participates in the discovery of all these new islands, suddenly, if you have accidentally left an interesting small island on the table, the other players can take advantage of it!

Enchanted Christmas and Brico’ Recup’
Every Sunday in December before Christmas, we offer free Enchanted Christmas workshops for children.
During 30-minute slots, children can discover board games or make Christmas decorations with us.
A time for discussion and creativity, the Enchanted Christmas workshops allow children to flourish...
Having hosted a “Brico’ Récup’” workshop for years, my goal was to make children aware of recycling and the environment.
We made unique and original creations from everyday objects by giving them a second life.
Brico’ Récup’ workshops that I continue to lead with children and teenagers to create decorative objects, furniture or even games and give them a second life.
We can't imagine all that we can achieve with recycled objects or everyday life!
During our manual workshops of the year and Enchanted Christmas, we try as much as possible to make use of materials and objects that would have ended up in the trash when they were far from being able to go there.
In addition to the ecological gesture, children and teenagers are happy to have a personalized object that they have made themselves.
Small gestures don't matter much, but it's these little things that make a big difference.

Today we are going to talk about Istanbul!
There is a bustle in Istanbul's Grand Bazaar as merchants and their assistants rush through the narrow alleys in their bid to outsell their competitors.
Everything must be well organized: wheelbarrows must be filled with goods in the warehouses, then quickly transported by the assistants to various destinations.
Your goal?
Be the first merchant to collect a certain number of rubies.
In Istanbul, you lead a party of a merchant and four assistants through 16 bazaar locations.
At each of these locations, you can perform a specific action.
The challenge, however, is that in order to take action, you have to move your merchant and an assistant there, and then leave the assistant behind (to handle all the details while you focus on more important matters).
If you want to use this helper again later, your trader must return to this location to pick it up.
Thus, you must plan carefully in advance to avoid finding yourself without assistants and therefore unable to do anything...
In more detail, on a turn, you move your merchant and his retinue of assistants one or two steps through the bazaar, either leave an assistant there, or pick up an assistant left earlier, then perform the action .
If you meet other traders or certain people there, you may be able to take a little extra action.
Possible actions include:
-Pay to increase the capacity of your wheelbarrow, which starts the game with a capacity of only two for each good.
-Fill your wheelbarrow with a specified good to its limit.
-Acquire a special ability, and the earlier you come, the easier they are to collect.
-Buy rubies or exchange goods for rubies.
-Sell special combinations of goods to earn the money you need to do everything else.
When a merchant has collected five rubies in their wheelbarrow, players end that turn, then the game ends.
If this player is the only one to have achieved this objective, he wins immediately; otherwise, the ties are severed by the money in hand.

In an eco-responsible approach, a large part of our packaging received when ordering games is reused.
They can be used for the packaging of online orders, to create displays or even to create store and window decoration.
This is an approach that we have been carrying out since the creation of the store and apply in our daily actions.
For example, we turn off the lights of the sign, the store and the computers and other electrical and electronic devices as soon as we are closed or when they are not in use.
The gift wrap that we offer is made of recycled and recyclable paper, as well as the adhesive tape which is made of a totally recyclable vegetable plastic.
We have exchanged all halogen bulbs in the store and the sign for LED bulbs that are better for the environment.
We donate furniture or objects that we no longer use so that they can have a second life.
We try to contribute on our small scale…

Today we are going to talk about Carta Impera Victoria!
CIV: Carta Impera Victoria is a game of CIVilization and diplomacy in which you develop your own civilization.
Be the first to achieve supremacy in a field to go down in history, but keep an eye on your opponents' progress.
Forming a temporary alliance can be the best way to prevent a player from winning… and remember that sometimes offense is the best defense!
In more detail, a player wins when he achieves supremacy in a field; if this does not happen, when no more cards can be drawn, the game ends and the players go through majority scoring to determine the winner.
The CIV includes six areas of competition: Military, Religion, Economy, Science, Culture, and Utopia.
The game's 104 cards are divided into three ages, which represent the natural evolution of world civilization through the timeline, but the cards for each realm are not evenly distributed.
Once the second age is over, for example, if you haven't yet reached the supremacy of Religion, it's time to think about another strategy.
Each field gives powers to the player who manages to reach the limit of cards in his playing area (depending on the number of players).
There are different types of powers, two levels of permanent effects, and a sacrifice effect for each field.
Using these powers in combination will be necessary to be the first to achieve supremacy - but using these powers is also a way to prevent competitors from achieving victory.
You will need all your diplomacy skills to enlist the help of others and prevent the leader from winning, but today's friend could be tomorrow's enemy, so be careful everyone and think about what combination of powers could lead to a surprise victory!

Human first
I remember one day this CEO of a large company who came to the store for services and ended up buying games for his grandchildren because he told me that you could see that I knew from what I was talking about.
There followed a long discussion about why I created the store and how long I had been playing board games…
Taking care of the steps he had to take, I didn't realize that he was watching me carefully out of the corner of his eye, absorbed in the reception of my other clients.
Once he was done, he paid and told me the following things:
"You know how to listen and respond to customer requests, it's not given to everyone".
"The attentive and benevolent attitude you have towards people is an invaluable asset and few people have it"
"The good thing about you is that you see beyond business, you are human above all".
I thanked him, even though I don't know if I deserved all those compliments.
I am in commerce as I am in everyday life, no more, no less...
And if he reads this, I say thank you again for this conversation and these compliments that go straight to my heart.

Today we are going to talk about Sultan of Karaya!
Sultans of Karaya will sound familiar to Werewolf/Mafia fans as the players each have a secret role and (most of them) belong to one of two teams, with each team having a specific way of winning the game .
The two teams are:
• Sultan and Guards (Loyalists) – to win, they must eliminate all Assassins and have no more than two Slaves still in play, or the Sultan must survive for one turn after being revealed.
• Assassins and Slaves (Rebels) – to win they must kill the Sultan or have three Slaves sitting next to them with their identities revealed, in which case a Slave Revolution brings down the Sultan.
The number of Role cards in play is equal to one more than the number of players, with exactly one Sultan, as many Guards as Assassins (including at least one in play), and at least three Slaves in the mix.
Zero to four neutral characters will also be in play, each unique and each with the ability to win with one team or the other. The Slave Driver, for example, wins with the Rebels if face down at the end of the round and wins with the Loyalists if face up, while the
Fortune Teller must correctly predict the team winning. At the start of the game, each player is secretly given a role card, with one card placed face down in the middle of the table.
During a turn, a player can peek at another player's role card, swap/hide (if your role is face down, swap cards with another player or reserve; if face-up, make other players hide their eyes, then secretly trade with any other face-down role card), or use a character action: guards can detain other players, forcing them to lose their turn; The slaves try to provoke a revolution; Assassins can eliminate any player at the risk of a guard stepping in and killing them instead.
Neutral characters have more complex actions. The Belly Dancer, for example, overpowers adjacent guards, preventing them from detaining others or warding off an assassination, but only if revealed. (If revealed and using her powers, she works for a Rebel victory; otherwise she can stay hidden and score if the Loyalists win.)
The Vizier can force another player to reveal himself and use his special action. Players on the winning team score one or two points depending on whether they were face up – ie working publicly for the cause – or face down.
At the end of a round, redistribute all Role cards. The player with the most points after five rounds wins the game.

Magic packets
During the Christmas period, we prepare different types of gift packages.
Our favorites remain those for children where we take particular pleasure in making original packages and hiding lots of little surprises in them. :)
I remember a merchant in the town where I was born who put out surprises in addition to Christmas presents. As a child, these little gifts made me happy.
From the first Christmas of the store, I took pleasure in creating or offering little surprises to hide in the gift or its package so that the children could feel the joy of an unexpected surprise in addition to the original gift.
I smile thinking of all these children who perhaps have the same pleasure as me, I had little to open gifts and discover more surprises... :)
Adding surprises that correspond to our customers and their children and seeing that they have had the desired effect (surprising and pleasing) is an incomparable pleasure, especially at Christmas.
It reminds me of this little 4-year-old man who came to get a surprise with a personalized package just for him and who asked me:
“And the gift packages, did the elves make them? ".
To which I nodded and he added,
"It's magic!" ".

Today we are going to talk about Dungeon Lords!
In Dungeon Lords, you are an evil dungeon lord trying to build the best dungeon there is.
You hire monsters, build chambers, buy traps, and defeat benefactors who wish to bring you down.
Have you ever ventured with a group of heroes to conquer dungeons, gain pride, experiences and of course rich treasures?
And have you ever realized how difficult it is to build and manage such an underground complex full of corridors and creatures?
No? Well now you can try.
Put yourself in the role of the master of the basement, summon your minions, dig a complex of tunnels and rooms, set traps, engage creatures and try to prevent dirty heroes from conquering and plundering your precious creation.
We can guarantee that you will look at dark corners, lairs and their inhabitants from a completely different perspective! Each turn, players use a hand of cards to choose where to place their worker.
Actions vary from mining gold, hiring monsters, buying traps, etc. Each action has three available slots - each slot having different effects (for example, gold mining allows you to mine more gold in each slot). When using the cards, two cards will be locked and cannot be used in the next turn.
There are 4 turns to place actions for each game "year" and two game years in an entire game.
Each round is identified as a "season". Each season, players will be able to see the heroes and events coming up in the following season.
Allowing them to prepare.
At the end of each season (after the first), heroes will be assigned to each player based on their evil level. Heroes range from mighty heroes to sneaky thieves.
Each hero has its own power which the player must prepare for. Finally, at the end of each year, the heroes will descend into the dungeon to fight.
The in-game score is based on what you've built, the monsters you've hired, and the heroes you've captured.

Welcome to a new opus of the JJV Offs!
Unique
During a time of volunteering, I found myself during an intergenerational play time to animate a role play.
As a game master, I have made it my mission to succeed in bringing parents and children together around secret objectives related to games...
The goal was to solve puzzles using the clues that each parent and each child had in their hands.
During this play time, an autistic child was afraid of the hubbub caused by the other apprentice investigators and their parents.
His mom was about to quit the game so she could reassure her autistic son when her other son started sulking, saying, "Mom, I don't want to quit the game."
The mother was going to try to calm her son down like she had done before, singing him a certain song that would calm him down.
Seeing this mother saddened that her other child can no longer play and having previously observed it, I approached the young autistic child and sat down in front of him, starting to sing the famous song.
He then took my hand to show me that he was reassured by the song and his mother smiled at me knowing that she could continue the game with her other son.
When her first son had calmed down, we joined them to finish the game and the evening ended very well.
When I left, this mother said to me:
"Never change, you are extra, that's what makes you unique".
We always end up reaping what we sow :)

At valiant heart nothing impossible !
Whenever I encountered a difficulty that I thought was insurmountable, my grandfather always used this expression that his grandfather before him had also said to him:
" At valiant heart nothing impossible ".
I grew up with this idea that difficulty could slow us down, but not stop us.
Now, I see difficulty as a challenge that pushes us to surpass ourselves.
Creating the store was a challenge for me and it continues to be so on a daily basis with the difficulties that any trader can encounter: unfair competition, jealousy and various gossip, economic and health crisis, etc...
But beyond all that, there is the reason why it all started that keeps us going.
When you no longer know why you want to continue, you have to ask yourself why you started.
Often the answer to this question allows us to know why we do things and allows us to make choices in life.
When you have the heart to undertake and want to succeed in something, you have to give yourself the means to achieve them, whether it is easy or more complicated.
We will often fail, we will succeed sometimes, but we will always move forward more experienced than before and even more determined.

One player plays the Dark Lord and the others the returning monsters. Inevitably, the mission is failed and the Lord wants an explanation and a responsible to punish.
At the start of the game, the monsters receive "Excuse" cards which they will use as a narrative element and "Action" cards which will be used to blame another player or interrupt him.
On your turn, you play an "Excuse" card and rely on it to tell part of the story. If we play the action "Reject the fault", we pass the floor to another player who must continue the story.
During this time, the Lord listens and, if he wants to, can intervene, to ask for details, all that. And, above all, he can show his anger by playing a "Look that kills!" card. when, for example, a player is too slow, boring, if he doesn't have an "Excuse" card in his hand or a "Lay the blame" card...
Yes, of course, but how do I win? In fact, it is mostly a game where one player loses.
Indeed, when a player has been entitled to the "Killing Look!" card 3 times, he has lost and another one can be made by changing, of course, the role of the Lord.
