At the Cannes International Games Festival, it is an opportunity to meet a lot of players, distributors and creators.

Like for example Tom Vuarchex who, among other things, co-created and illustrated the Twin It and the Jungle Speed.

A little personalized dedication in passing is always a pleasure, especially since its author has been simple and sympathetic.

Welcome to a new opus of "JJV's Offs".

I was already very happy to have been recognized and congratulated for the four nominations for the Female Success trophies of the CCI in the categories digital, originality, benevolence and agility.

So even when the President of the Provence Alpes Côté d´Azur region sends a letter to congratulate us, it is just as appreciable. :)

Thank you to the CCI and again well done to all the participants and winners!

Getting to where we are in our companies today is already a great first success! ;)

Bravo and courage to all the business leaders of our beautiful department of Vaucluse and beautiful region of PACA.

Good luck to all of you and as the 2004 Nobel Peace Prize Laureate Wangara Maatai ​​said "There are always opportunities, even in the most difficult times".

Welcome to this new opus of "Off du JJV"!

In addition to winning the agility trophy rewarding our company for having succeeded in reacting positively and developing in the face of the crisis, I was also nominated in three other categories:

Originality: which rewards women who work in a predominantly male profession (won by Adrienne PHILIPPE, Distrigaz Provence).

Digital: which rewards strong action to digitize the offer. (won by Myriam DUGNAS, Petit Léon)

Benevolence: which rewards a company that has distinguished itself during the pandemic (won by Christine PEDDITZI, CP + Commercial Development).

Let’s not forget the creation trophy which rewards a company created in 2020 and which was won by Claire BOTTARO, Fée O ’Naturel.

And two favorites from the jury for Valérie GUILLEMOT, Orient'action - Valerie Guillemot Conseil Carrière et Compétences and Adrienne BOULAY, Oh my Deuche, 2cv rental - Escapades en Provence.

Congratulations to all the winners and also to all the participants!

Welcome to our new opus "JJV's Offs".

Before opening the store, I worked in commerce.

Then especially in animation, where I lived very good years with children and by organizing intergenerational games libraries and many others ... :)

This desire to share moments around board games with you therefore stems from those years of animation and a passion for games since I was five years old. :)

Animation has been one of the greatest work experiences in my life. :)

I liked the fun and festive side, sharing and discussing with children and their families and above all I liked offering various and varied activities, like robotics in this photo! :)

Fresh from commerce and intergenerational animation (Freshly, because I worked at Picard Surgelés ^^), I thought to myself why not create the board game store that Vaison lacks.

And Abracadabra, Joue le Jeu Vaison was here!

Today in our Opus of "JJV's Offs" we tell you how our passion for the game was born ;)

I've been a chess player since I was 5 years old (like a platform series it seems, I don't have this platform so no idea ^^).

I improvised my first Risk by nabbing pawns here and there in my parents' games and by tracing the conquests of each army with an erasable marker on the world map that I used as a desk pad for school. :)

Then it all happened and I was never able to stop playing board games and video games. :)

Today for our second installment of "JJV's Offs", we are going to talk about the choice of the name of the store "Joue le Jeu".

"Playing the Game" is a 20th century phrase that means being loyal and outspoken, but also the idea of ​​having a sincere and respectful relationship with one another.

"Play the Game" is therefore inspired by this desire to be respectful of our customers but also literally "play the game" with our customers by offering discussion times around board games. :)

Do you know what our logo and the name of the store stand for?

No ? So here's the explanation in pictures. :)

An inverted « J » for « Joue » in orange for joy and optimism.

A « l » for « le » in purple for friendship and dream.

A « J » for « Jeu » in pink for hapiness and youth.

A general « V » shape for « Vaison » in the form of a delighted smile.

Figures holding hand for sharing and conviviality. J

« Nous, on joue le jeu ! » which means « We do play the game ! ».

Implies that we chose to have correct prices and to play games with our clients and we also stay tuned.
