We are surrounded by a black halo.
The Milky Way is nested in a cluster of dark matter much larger and more massive than the galaxy itself.
In the late 1960s, astronomer Vera Rubin deduced the presence of dark matter in the periphery of galaxies by studying the speed of rotation of stars in spiral galaxies.
She observed that the stars near the outskirts of Andromeda were moving at a speed that should have sent them to the far reaches of the universe.
And yet they stayed in their orbit, which meant that some sort of cosmic glue held them together.
This "glue", we now know, is dark matter.

Following the government announcements on Wednesday, March 31, 2021, we will no longer be able to welcome you to the store until at least May 3.
You can always find your games and order them via Click and Collect on our site https://www.jouelejeuvaison.com/en/ by selecting the option "Pick up in store" or by having them delivered directly to your home (shipping costs in extra cost).
Personalized orders remain possible as at the first Click and Collect.
Contact us directly to let us know your request and we will explain how to proceed with your purchase.
Cyberspace, printing and copying services are therefore no longer available during this entire period.
As for the packages, we can continue to take your deposits and give you the packages you receive, but it will be in front of the store.
We close Thursday April 1 at 6:30 p.m. and will reopen Wednesday April 14 at 8:30 a.m.
As soon as we get back, don't hesitate to order your games, because we will always be there at the store on our usual hours:

Our sun is just one star among hundreds of billions.
The Milky Way is home to a hundred billion stars.
Maybe 300 or 400 billion.

I was already very happy to have been recognized and congratulated for the four nominations for the Female Success trophies of the CCI in the categories digital, originality, benevolence and agility.
So even when the President of the Provence Alpes Côté d´Azur region sends a letter to congratulate us, it is just as appreciable. :)

Getting to where we are in our companies today is already a great first success! ;)

The Milky Way is not eternal!
In about 4 billion years, the Milky Way will collide with its closest neighbor, the Andromeda Galaxy.
The two spiral galaxies are approaching each other at a speed of 402,000 kilometers per hour.
When they come into contact, it won't be as catastrophic as you might imagine.
Earth will certainly survive this galactic shock, and only a few rare stars will actually be destroyed.
The new mega-galaxy will offer intensely starry night skies.

A huge black hole sits at the center of our galaxy.
Sagittarius A *, located in the center of the Milky Way, is a huge black hole whose mass is about 4 million times that of our sun.
This object has never been observed directly - it is hidden by thick clouds of dust and gas.
But astronomers have been able to observe the orbit of stars and clouds near the center of the galaxy, and in this way calculate the mass of this hidden cosmic giant.
Huge black holes are said to have made their home in the heart of most galaxies, and some feed on surrounding matter so forcefully that they reject powerful radiation visible millions of light years away.

In addition to winning the agility trophy rewarding our company for having succeeded in reacting positively and developing in the face of the crisis, I was also nominated in three other categories:
Originality: which rewards women who work in a predominantly male profession (won by Adrienne PHILIPPE, Distrigaz Provence).
Digital: which rewards strong action to digitize the offer. (won by Myriam DUGNAS, Petit Léon)
Benevolence: which rewards a company that has distinguished itself during the pandemic (won by Christine PEDDITZI, CP + Commercial Development).
Let’s not forget the creation trophy which rewards a company created in 2020 and which was won by Claire BOTTARO, Fée O ’Naturel.

Before opening the store, I worked in commerce.
Then especially in animation, where I lived very good years with children and by organizing intergenerational games libraries and many others ... :)
This desire to share moments around board games with you therefore stems from those years of animation and a passion for games since I was five years old. :)
Animation has been one of the greatest work experiences in my life. :)
I liked the fun and festive side, sharing and discussing with children and their families and above all I liked offering various and varied activities, like robotics in this photo! :)
