Hello everyone!

Today we are going to talk about the Yellow Dwarf!

Grab your cards and your tokens, 2 to 8 players from 8 years old for 20 to 30 minutes, to place your bets and try to win!

Distribute the tokens to the players. Each player receives the same number of points, to be agreed. Draw lots to know which player distributes the cards at the start of the game. Agree on a distribution and play direction. Each player places tokens in each square of the board:

• 1 point on the 10 of diamonds;

• 2 points on the jack of clubs;

• 3 points on the queen of spades;

• 4 points on the king of hearts;

• 5 points on the 7 of diamonds or "Yellow Dwarf".

Shuffle the cards and deal them to the players three by three and face down. Leave a pile of three to eight cards face down depending on the number of players:

Depending on the direction of play, the player to the left or right of the dealer begins to play. He places the first card of his choice, face up, announcing the name of the card. He does the same with the following cards as long as he can, in the order "ace, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, jack, queen, king", without worrying about their color. If he places a king, he begins a new sequence from the card of his choice.

When he stops, he announces "without" then the name of the missing card. For example, if he stops at 9, he announces "without 10". The next player continues the sequence in the same way, if he can. Otherwise, he passes his turn and so on with the other players.

If none of the players have the missing card and if it is not a king, the player who placed the last card moves on to the next card. If none of the players have the missing card and if it is a king, the player who placed the last card starts a new sequence from the card of his choice.

When a player places a card represented on the board, for example the queen of spades, he announces "queen who takes" and collects the chips bet in the corresponding box. If he forgets to announce, the chips remain in the box until they are collected during another round.

The round ends as soon as a player has no more cards in his hand. He receives from the other players the equivalent in chips of the value of the cards remaining in his hand. The ace is worth one point, the 2 is worth two points, etc. The 10 and each face card are worth ten points.

If a player gets rid of all his cards at once, this is called "Grand Opera". He receives, in addition to the payment from the other players, all the chips bet on the board.

At the end of a round, if a player still has a card represented on the board in his hand, he must double the bet that is in the corresponding box. The chips remain in the box until they are picked up during another round.

If the stock pile contains a card represented on the board, the chips bet in the corresponding box remain there until they are picked up during another round.

The player who had placed the first card becomes the dealer. He collects all the cards, including those in the stock. Players can start a new round.

The game is over when a player can no longer bet or can no longer pay another player. You can also choose a number of bets or a game duration. Players then count their chips, the winner is the one with the most points.

Have a good day and good game ;)
