The Hunchback of Notre-Dame Fails to Save Esmeralda
The original story written by Victor Hugo doesn't end as well as expected.
Indeed, Quasimodo fails to save Esmeralda, who is hanged by Frollo.
Quasimodo ends up killing him and mourns Esmeralda by starving himself until his own death...
Not a very fun story.
