Hello everyone!

Today we're going to talk about Arkhanos!

Budding magicians, 2 to 4 players, ages 12 and up, for 30 to 45 minutes. It's up to you to collect as many magic runes as possible to honor your school!

In Arkhanos, players earn prestige by participating in the construction of the four magic towers and by having the greatest number of apprentices and masters on each tower floor. With 2 or 4 players, the game ends after 8 rounds. With 3 players, the game ends after 9 rounds.

Choose one of the dice rolled on the table and place it on an empty pillar of any floor tile, filling a pillar at the same time. Next, take a token (master or apprentice) from your supply and place it in the space next to this pillar. The central tower can contain dice of any value and any color. However, the outer towers can only contain dice of a specific value and a specific color.

When you place a die on a pillar, you gain the bonus indicated on it. There are four types of pillar bonuses: gain 2 prestige, gain prestige based on the floor, activate a spell or build a tower, and activate a spell. If all three pillars on a floor tile are full, score points for that floor as follows. Each player's influence on that floor is counted. Each apprentice token is worth 1 influence, each master token is worth 2 influence.

The two players with the most influence score the prestige. If the players are tied for the most or second-most influence, each tied player scores the prestige indicated by the "tied" entry. However, if two players are tied for the most influence, the player with the second most influence does not score any prestige.

After scoring points, the next floor of the tower is built. All tokens are removed from the floor tile, except those on pillars without dice, and returned to their owners. The top floor tile is taken from the stack of tiles and placed on top of the tokens and dice on the tower floor. Each player has a spellbook with 6 spells. As they play, they mark the spells as active by placing their tokens on them. Each spell can only contain one token at a time. At any time during their turn, they can cast any of their active spells. When they cast one, they return the token to their pool, and their effect can then be resolved.

At the end of the game, they score points for each incomplete floor tile. For the greatest influence: 3 prestige; for the second greatest influence: 2 prestige; for a tie in influence: 1 prestige. In addition, each player scores 1 prestige per token on their spellbook. Each player counts their prestige, and the player with the most prestige wins the game and is declared the best wizard in the kingdom! In the event of a tie, the player with the most tokens on their spellbook wins. If there is still a tie, the player with the most tokens on the upper floors of the towers wins. If the tie persists, all tied players win.

Good day and game ;)
