Most players will put themselves in the shoes of Los Angeles police detectives, hungry for glory and willing to do anything to successfully close a case, even if it means intimidating suspects, hiding evidence, and committing snitches to denounce their colleagues.
One player, however, will take on the role of the Puppeteer, whose only goal is to buy time and fool the detectives every time, using bluff, manipulation and outright lies.
Suspects don't just give answers in paragraph form, but the Puppet Master carefully chooses how they respond.
Detectives can challenge answers they believe to be lies, but at great risk: If they are wrong, The Chisel will exert influence over them, making the case even more difficult to solve.
Each crime is a carefully constructed puzzle that can unfold in different ways depending on how the detectives choose to pursue their investigations. As the detectives turn the city upside down, uncovering new evidence and "hot" leads, hidden suspects may be revealed and new lines of interrogation will open, creating a rich, story-driven experience. the story.
Will one detective rise above the rest and close the case of L.A.'s latest high-profile murder? Or will the Scissor sow enough doubt and confusion to prevent the detectives from solving the crime?
