Kudos is an explosive card game that blends speed, strategy, and cunning moves. The rules are simple: match colors and shapes to those on the central piles, moving clockwise. But watch out—a "perfect match" can turn the tide of the game and force an opponent to draw cards!
A simple family game where strategy and pattern matching are key to winning, offering fun and dynamic gameplay.
Deal the cards based on the number of players. Take 4 cards and place them in the center of the table to form a square. Randomly place the arrow card so it points toward one of the 4 cards.
Each player reveals the top 3 cards of their draw pile and places them face-up in front of them.
Starting with the pile indicated by the arrow, play 1, 2, or 3 cards from your row.
The card you play must match either the color or the geometric shape of the card currently on top of the pile.
You can place multiple cards on the same pile, provided the color and shape match each time.
Draw as many cards as needed to bring your row back up to 3 cards.
If you play a card that exactly matches the top card of a playable pile, take that entire pile and place it onto an opponent's discard pile.
If you manage to play all 3 cards from your row in a single turn, you can move one card from your discard pile onto an opponent's discard pile.
The round ends when a player has no cards left in their draw pile and no cards left to play. Each player counts the cards in their discard pile and draw pile, excluding any cards remaining in their row. The game continues until one of the players reaches 35 points or more.
