99% Pure is a trick-taking game packed with interactions and original gameplay.
At the end of the round, players choose their side (Chemist or DEA) without consulting their hand. Chemists score by producing Meth, and DEA by seizing Meth. The scores can vary greatly depending on the choice made.
After completing a draft phase allowing each player to build a hand of 6 cards, everyone places their cards face up on the table, aligned. Each card represents a familiar character or object from the "Breaking Bad" series, which is the subject of the parody. Each player takes turns playing a card.
Each card can be played in three ways and can interfere with their opponents' play (with 4 players, the game is played in teams). It is also possible to interfere with their opponents' tricks without them being able to see the changes made to them.
When the players run out of cards, the crucial decision comes: chemist or AED? This is done without consulting their tricks. Several rounds are played until a player reaches or exceeds 99 victory points.
