Tick tock, tick tock, only a few minutes left before the end of the match. I have to pull off an attack and score an unstoppable shot to win... Otherwise, it's penalty kicks... and that's going to be intense!!
Three levels of play:
1. Beginner: Each player sees all or part of their opponent's 4 "active" cards and simultaneously decides to play one of their own. The value of the card played can allow you to either keep the ball or lose it. If you manage to keep the ball for 2 turns, you move from the passing phase to the shooting phase. The shot is taken via a "rock, paper, or shuffle" duel, hence the name of the game... Rock, Paper, Paper, or Shuffle!
2. Amateur: Each player receives 3 "Dribble/Tackle" cards. Dribbling allows you to keep possession of the ball during passing phases, but an opponent's tackle can counter this dribble… or even result in a free kick (rock-paper-scissors)! So be careful with this choice.
3. Pro: Shots, except for free kicks or penalties, are resolved using cards, not rock-paper-scissors. To score, you must play a card of a higher value, but with a maximum difference of 3. For all 3 levels, a rock-paper-scissors penalty shootout can take place if the players are tied after all the cards have been played.
