Fairy Lights New

To play, shuffle the deck and place it face down. Each card represents 1 or 2 light bulbs of one of the five available colors and is worth 0 to 2 points. On your turn, look at how many cards are in the "shop," the central area of ​​the game:

If the shop contains 5 cards, you can only draw during your turn. If the shop contains between 1 and 4 cards, you can draw. If the shop is empty, you must draw.

Place the revealed card at the end of the shop row. If it is the same color as the last card in the shop, your turn ends immediately. Otherwise, if the shop does not contain five cards, you can draw again or end your turn and draw. If the shop now contains five cards, you must draw.

When you draw cards, if there are 1 to 4 cards in the shop, take all the cards of the same color and add them to your collection; if there are five cards, take all the cards of two different colors instead.

If the number of light bulbs of a color in your collection is now a multiple of three (3, 6, 9, 12), score points for those cards and place them face down in a corner of your playing area. If you have 1 or 2 light bulbs of a color, leave those cards where they are. If you have four or more light bulbs of a color and haven't scored them yet, discard them all. Then it's the next player's turn.

When the last card of the draw pile is revealed, the active player finishes their turn and the game ends. Add up the points on your marked cards, then subtract the points from all the remaining cards in your play area. The player with the most points at the end of the game wins!
