Hello everyone !

Welcome to a new opus of the JJV Offs!

Friend of the planet.

Aware that the smallest impact that we can have can be useful to the planet, a few obvious reflexes imposed themselves on me.

We turn off all devices that are not in use every lunchtime and evening: computers, printers, payment terminal, parcel terminal.

Standby being energy-intensive, we turn them off and only turn them back on when the store is open.

Everything is off as soon as we leave the store, including the sign and all the lights in the store!

These are small daily efforts that add to the reuse of our order boxes for orders made on the store's website or to create various decorations and displays.

All printing errors are used to make draft sheets.

We use reusable cartridges for the store's printers as well as recycled and recyclable paper.

Our gift wrap is kraft and therefore easily recyclable for reuse.

These are just small efforts, but they are so important for the planet and for us.

The game, a timeless intergenerational tool.

When I was an animator for the town halls of Anjou, where I am from, I had the opportunity to lead a lot of intergenerational play time.

I am happy to be able to offer such moments again thanks to the store in Vaucluse.

Creating additional complicity between parents/grandparents and children is a reward worthy of the time spent on it.

The board game allows you to create unforgettable moments in the right atmosphere around a table.

Discovering a little more while playing is a moment that you keep with you.

Sharing a game as a family is also a way to get to know each other a little better.

Who is the most strategist? Who is the fastest ? Who is playing with whom?

And many more questions and discoveries that only games allow...

Board games are an invaluable fun tool! In addition to providing an unforgettable moment of fun, they also often allow you to open up to others.

Whether this link is between parents, grandparents and their children or between friends or acquaintances, the game allows you to discover the other through common rules.

Since I've been hosting, I've noticed that the game allows you to listen to others, because you need other players to progress in the game together.

Cooperative games are not the only ones to allow this.

Developing thinking, speed and strategy, "board" games also allow everyone to share together.

We always enjoy sharing a game with family or friends.

Party game, strategy, family, children; there is something for all ages and all tastes and levels!

Reuniting a work team through games.

As part of our outdoor activities, we offer team cohesion workshops via games.

Bringing games that unite teams or resolve tensions is always an enriching experience for the team concerned and for us.

Well beyond just a game, the team cohesion workshop allows you to challenge a team to help it become aware of its weak points and give it ways to overcome them.

In a beneficial atmosphere, the game then serves to show what is not coherent and needs to be addressed to improve cohesion within the team.

With more than 20 years of experience in the entertainment industry with different audiences, we remain attentive and caring to help the progress of the teams we support.

 Welcome to a new opus of “Offs du JJV”!

 PIL or Face?

At one point, two opportunities presented themselves to me: to take up an interesting job in animation or to open a board game store…

Face, animation is a job that is also a passion! 

A job that allowed me to rub shoulders with other great animators with whom I was able to forge solid experience in different types of activities…

Activities that have allowed children from 2 to 85 years old to share moments together, to listen to each other and to marvel.

PIL, Passion + Idea + Local, the perfect combo to turn a passion into a job!

A passion that makes everyday life more fun and friendly. Sharing it with you is just the icing on the cake.

 An idea not only to sell games, but to ensure that the game is a shared moment.

A place that allows you to discover fun nuggets, but a name that is not limited to the local and is also exported to outdoor activities.

PIL or Face, although Face suited me very well too, PIL suited me even better!

PIL allows me to share my playful passion with you all.

Welcome to a new opus of “Offs du JJV”!

 Virtuous circle

 In an eco-responsible approach, a large part of our packaging received when ordering games is reused.

They can be used for the packaging of online orders, to create displays or even to create store and window decoration.

This is an approach that we have been carrying out since the creation of the store and apply in our daily actions.

For example, we turn off the lights of the sign, the store and the computers and other electrical and electronic devices as soon as we are closed or when they are not in use.

 The gift wrap that we offer is made of recycled and recyclable paper, as well as the adhesive tape which is made of a totally recyclable vegetable plastic.

We have exchanged all halogen bulbs in the store and the sign for LED bulbs that are better for the environment.

We donate furniture or objects that we no longer use so that they can have a second life.

We try to contribute on our small scale…
